We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager to help supervise the running of the inn in the owner's absence.
This is a very hands on role and would include reservations and reception. The duties would vary depending on how busy the hotel is and can be discussed at interview stage.
This position would suit someone who has hotel experience seeking a first move into hotel management. They should be smart, honest and trustworthy and able to work on their own initiative with an eye for detail and a large dollop of common sense. The applicant should be computer literate and an interest in
social media, quality food and drink would also be beneficial. Non smoker preferred who is from the local area. Must like pigs, as we raise our own from weaners.
Although not 'live in' the applicant maybe expected to stay over night 2 or 3 times per week. If the position of Assistant Manager (Live In) should become available then the applicant would be needed to stay in the hotel in a staff room sharing a bathroom.
