Terms & Conditions

The contract entered into is between The Wyndham Arms Hotel Ltd (The Hotel) and the person making the reservation (The Guest).

The contract is not effective until the required payment has been received and the confirmation sent from The Hotel to The Guest.

Once the confirmation has been received The Guest should check the details and immediately contact The Hotel if there are any decrepancies.

If The Guest objects to any part of these Terms & Conditions within 24 hours of the email being sent then The Contract can be made void and the deposit returned.

If The Guest is making a reservation for other guests it is their responsibility to ensure that all of the other guests are aware of these Terms & Conditions.

Tariffs: Room and meal rates are subject to change.

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of £30 per room per night is required. This amount is increased for our Christmas Breaks. This can be paid by credit or debit card over the telephone or by the online booking system.

Cancellation or Curtailment: Once a booking is confirmed the guest is responsible for the total cost of the stay. In the event of a cancellation or curtailment of the proposed stay then The Hotel will try to re-sell the room. In the situation where The Hotel is unable to re-sell the room then it is agreed that The Hotel may debit the guest's card to make a total of 85% of the proposed stay of any cancellation or curtailment without re-course.

Cancellation Insurance: The Guest is strongly advised to take out holiday insurance. Then if the reason for the cancellation is covered by the policy and the relevant documents are produced, the cost of the stay should be met by the insurers.

Occupancy: Occupancy will usually be from 14.00 on the day of arrival to 11.00 on the day of departure unless special arrangements have been made and additional charges agreed.

Dogs: In order to ensure that The Hotel continues to welcome dogs The Guest must undertake the following: a) Dogs must be kept under strict control whilst on the property causing little or no disruption to the enjoyment of other guests. b) Any fowling of gardens, paths etc must be picked up immediately. c) Dogs are not permitted on beds or chairs. d) The Guest must bring the dogs bedding. e) Any damage caused by the dog must be reported to the manager on duty as soon as it is practical.

Damage, Loss or Nuisance: The Guest agrees that a) The supervision of babies, children, dogs and any adult requiring care remins the responsibility of The Guest at all times. b) To be responsible for leaving the rooms in good order or a cleaning charge may be levied with re-course to the guest. c) To pay for any damage or loss however caused d) Not to cause nuisance to to other guests.

Complaints: If it is the opinion of The Guest there are grounds for complaint, it is the duty of The Guest to take up the matterwith The Hotel immediately to allow remedial action to be taken. It is specifically agreed that failure by The Guest to notify The Hotel of any complaint in accordance with the timescale set out above will entitle The Hotel to refuse to entertain the complaint irrespective of its merits.

Waiver: The failure of The Hotel to enforce or exercise, at any time, or for any period of time, any term of, or any right pursuant to this contract does not constitute and shall not be construed as a waiver of such term or right.

legal provisions: The construction, validity and performance of this contract is governed by the law of England and parties submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
